We use fat from our pigs to make this lard. We use the back fat from our pigs, grind it, and then render it slowly over low heat for several hours in our commercial kitchen. It has a high smoke point so it is great for frying and pan searing. It is also prized by bakers for creating flavorful pastry crusts.
We currently sell these in quart containers (32 oz).
